Thinking about a career change? Maybe, you’re under paid. I found this great new salary search tool at indeed.com. Find out what you could get paid versus what you are. I decided to have fun with this and see if the wording the same position differently, effects the pay. I am located in Seattle, WA. I took my field SEO to test this out. The results are below.

If you are just an SEO person, your salary is around $55,000

Being an SEO manager increased your salary to $61,000.

If you can label your self as a “specialist” you would think you would enjoy a bump in salary. But no. It says $48,000.

If you can achieve expert status you can make $66,000.

I also looked up SEO professional. It pulled in a decent 62K.

I know this tool is more for fun. I know there will be a lot of people looking to have their title at work changed in hopes of increasing their wallets.
